Scholarships

Scholarships are awarded to pupils from Year 7, in recognition of outstanding achievement or promise in a particular subject area. The primary benefit for our Scholars is the additional support, extension and challenge that the Scholarship programme provides. Please note, there is no fee remission associated to scholarships. The awards are valid for two years at Belmont and pupils will be encouraged to re-apply for further scholarships when they move to Mill Hill, our senior school. All awards are subject to satisfactory progress and behaviour.

Bursaries (Years 7 & 8)

The Mill Hill School Foundation is committed to widening access to education across the Mill Hill Education Group by offering means-tested bursary support to eligible families with limited income and assets. Bursaries are awarded to outstanding pupils who have also received a scholarship.

Awards are made at the Foundation’s discretion, subject to available funding and annual review, and may provide up to 100% support towards tuition fees. In exceptional circumstances, assistance may also be available towards boarding fees.

Applicants are required to complete a Statement of Financial Circumstances and provide supporting financial information. Applications are reviewed by the Bursary Committee, comprising the CEO, the Head of the relevant school and the Director of Finance and Resources.
