Community Links and Partnerships
Engaging with the Community
Belmont is proud to be an active member of the local community. We believe that our pupils should be engaged as young members of the community, instilling strong character values while encouraging learning about the joys of giving up their time in an act of kindness and service to others.
The Friends of Belmont (FOB) is Belmont’s Parents’ Association, which is run by the parents alongside the School. The FOB has made an amazing contribution to the School by supporting local charities and improving the educational environment for Belmont pupils. The FOB organises events such as Christmas fairs for the pupils, BFest, quiz nights, and other social events that bring the whole community together.
Sports Partnerships
Through our continued commitment to delivering an outstanding coaching provision and our drive for pupil progression, we have developed a unique portfolio of partnerships with professional clubs across many of our core sports.
The unique links our pupils have with professional players and coaches ensures that they receive the highest level of support, whilst bolstering the already highly-skilled sports departments across our Schools. We continue to drive innovation and collaboration in all that we do, and the links to professional club sides makes certain that this remains central to our practice.
These partnerships not only offer exclusive packages, including exclusive access to their training grounds, clubs and camps, support with facility investment and player visits and ticket deals, the real opportunity comes from our links with their coaching staff.
Each partnership helps us to strengthen our coaching pedigree, granting opportunities for coach education and professional development across the different sports, as well as allowing world-class players and coaches to join us for Games afternoons and squad training.

Strong Links
The school has strong links with local state schools and does a huge amount to support local charities, including fundraising events, visiting care homes to connect with residents, cooking for the community, and donations to food banks. Community projects are a part of our Future Skills Programme in Years 4 and 6.
We are proud of our community links and we believe that they help our pupils develop into well-rounded individuals who are kind, caring, and socially responsible.
