Championing a new Multi-Sport AstroTurf Pitch
At Belmont, we have a proud tradition of offering a broad, ambitious sports programme that supports every pupil, developing confidence, teamwork and a lifelong enjoyment of being active.
On 7 January, we were thrilled to receive planning permission for a brand new Multi‑Sport AstroTurf pitch on site. This facility will transform daily life for our pupils, providing access to consistent high‑quality training facilities, more opportunities to compete, and an all‑weather space where every child can grow, play and excel.
With a total cost of £1 million, the Mill Hill School Foundation has already committed £500,000 to this project. To bring the full vision to life, we now need to raise a further £500,000.
With your support, we can create a facility that will benefit Belmontians and the wider community for generations.

Our Ambition
Our ambition is clear: to offer a sports programme that is inclusive, inspiring and worthy of our pupils’ talent and enthusiasm.
This is not just an upgrade, it is a transformational investment in the daily experience of every pupil, across every year group.

The New Pitch
The new pitch will be a sand-dressed synthetic pitch, supporting the broadest possible range of sports, including hockey and football, while remaining suitable for wider curriculum and co-curricular use.
It will be located beyond our existing rugby and cricket pitch with its own access from the car park giving us reliable access to training facilities every day, all year round, regardless of the weather.
