Girls Sport
Over the past few weeks, it has been a fantastic period for Girls’ Sport, with pupils across all year groups demonstrating great commitment, teamwork, and enthusiasm.
Our U13 team achieved an outstanding result at the IAPS Netball National Finals, finishing 12th in the country, an incredible achievement at such a high level of competition. The U12 girls have also enjoyed great success, being crowned County Netball Plate winners and securing a bronze medal at the County Hockey Finals, showcasing their talent across multiple sports.
It has also been exciting to see our younger pupils in action. The U10 girls played their first Football fixture against Stormont, gaining valuable experience and representing the School with confidence. All U10 and U11 girls took part in a successful round of Netball fixtures against Highgate, while the U10 teams also delivered a strong performance at the Orley Farm Netball Tournament.
In addition, our Year 3 and 4 House Netball event was a huge success, with excellent participation and a wonderful display of teamwork and spirit.
We are incredibly proud of the girls and their many achievements. However, what stands out most is the resilience, determination, and sense of fun they bring to training sessions and matches and we are proud of the sporting journeys they are on!
