Holocaust Memorial Day

Today, our Year 7 and 8 pupils marked Holocaust Memorial Day by listening to Mrs Paul, Teacher of Humanities, who courageously shared her family’s story, speaking about her father and grandfather’s experiences during the Holocaust and the immense struggles they faced.

Ms Paul helped pupils understand what an average day looked like for the unfortunate men, women and children who endured unimaginable hardship, encouraging empathy, understanding and remembrance.

Our Year 7 and 8 pupils then took time to reflect and remember all those who were affected, honouring their lives and stories.
