House Chess Competition

This week saw the start of the House Chess Competition, beginning with matches from our Year 7 and 8 pupils. Each house was represented with great pride, and every player demonstrated impressive focus, determination and commitment throughout their games.

Our Lower School superstars from Years 3 and 4 battled it out on the second day of the House Chess Competition. Pupils approached their matches with excellent focus, alongside a few well-earned smiles and laughs, making for an enjoyable and competitive atmosphere. They demonstrated a strong understanding of the game!

On the final day it was the turn of our Year 5 and 6 pupils to shine as the final day of House Chess came to a close. We are incredibly proud of all the pupils who took part and represented their houses with focus, determination, and great sportsmanship. Well done to everyone!

A special mention goes to Henry T (5JD), Max D A (5EP), Theo S (6GB), and Hari G (6GB) for their outstanding performances.

All pupils should be commended for the tremendous effort they put in and for approaching the competition with such enthusiasm and concentration.
