Making Measuring Memories

We were delighted to welcome Year 2 pupils from our Pre-Prep School, Grimsdell, to Belmont, Mill Hill Prep for a special ‘Making Measuring Memories’ outdoor carousel of Maths measurement activities in the Quad.

The engaging session provided a wonderful opportunity for pupils to develop their measuring skills through a range of hands-on challenges, working collaboratively while enjoying the outdoor setting. Throughout the morning, our Year 3 pupils supported and encouraged the visitors, helping them explore the activities with confidence and enthusiasm.

As part of this transition event, the Year 2 pupils spent time alongside their future Year 3 peers, giving them the chance to become more familiar with life at Belmont ahead of the next stage of their educational journey. With some pupils already knowing one another, the activities helped strengthen existing friendships while creating new connections.

It was a fantastic and memorable experience for all involved, offering our Grimsdell pupils an exciting glimpse of what lies ahead when they join Belmont in Year 3.
