Music Tour to The Netherlands

The Music Tour to The Netherlands was such a brilliant experience for our pupils. They packed so much into the trip and discovered a lot along the way.

Their first concert set the tone: confident playing, bright smiles and the thrill of performing abroad. The second concert, at the WZD Care Home, was quieter but no less powerful, watching our pupils share their music with the residents felt genuinely moving and left everyone a little softer around the edges.

In between performances, they explored Madurodam’s miniature world, took part in quiz nights, and even squeezed in a visit to the Efteling theme park visit. Their third concert, at another care home, had an amazing atmosphere and ended in a spontaneous conga line. The hosts were so delighted that they even surprised the pupils with gifts.

To celebrate all their hard work, the group went to an all‑you‑can‑eat pancake cruise, a definite highlight. The final concert was fantastic, and we couldn’t be prouder of how they represented Belmont.

We’re already counting down the days until the next tour in 2027!
