The Townsend-Warner History Competition
This week a group of Year 7 and 8 pupils took part in the Townsend-Warner History Competition. This national competition was started 140 years ago and is one of the oldest institutions in the preparatory School world. The competition consists of a challenging one hour quiz featuring 100 questions spanning an enormous range of history, from the Roman Empire to the election of Tony Blair.
Our pupils performed incredibly well, demonstrating an impressive breadth of knowledge, and we are hopeful that some will progress to Round Two.
