Year 6 Angles Amazing Amusement Fair

On Wednesday lunchtime, the Year 6 Angles put on a fantastic ‘Amazing Amusement Fair' as part of their Community Strand for Future Skills. After researching a range of charities and presenting their findings, the pupils thoughtfully chose to support the Dog’s Trust. With their cause decided, they explored different fundraising possibilities and agreed that a school fair would be the most fun and effective option.

Working in small teams, they designed their stalls, drafted a promotional piece for the Belmont newsletter, created eye-catching posters, and even prepared additional resources and prizes at home. Their imagination and teamwork were evident throughout, and the fair proved hugely popular with the visiting pupils from Years 3-6.

Stalls included: Guess The Prize, ANGLE-ball, Ping Pong Party, Football Bowling, Place the Face, Guess the Sweets and Operation. In just half an hour, the Angles raised an impressive £377.89 for the Dog’s Trust.
