Love Learning
We have created a rigorous, rich and diverse curriculum that goes well beyond the national curriculum, and gives your child the chance to excel in many areas.
From the earliest age, we’ll encourage your child to embrace challenge, and to understand how hard work leads to success. When they try hard and persist, we reward them so they learn that this is the way to achieve their goals and dreams. We encourage pupils to take risks and to recognise that failure is inevitable when you’re learning something new, as long as you learn from it and keep on trying.
Academic
At Belmont we are proud to offer a curriculum that is both academically rigorous and engaging, and one which strikes the right balance between academic, creative, linguistic and technological subjects and physical education.
Pastoral Care
At Belmont we believe that a child who is happy and safe in their environment will flourish; Pastoral Care is at the core of everything we do at Belmont. It starts with our school values: Be Kind, Be Brave, Be You.
Learning Support
We are very proud of the learning support we provide at Belmont and of the progress that our pupils make. We celebrate pupils’ strengths but also their potential and are able to provide support to help the pupils achieve this potential.
Wrap-around Care
Many families lead busy lives and we offer outstanding wrap-around care. Many Belmont families choose to start the day with our Family Breakfast in the Jubilee Hall. Breakfast is served from 7.30am. School day for the pupils starts at 8.20am with registration.
School Meals
The Mill Hill Education Group prides itself on the production of healthy and wholesome meals provided by our own catering team. All food (main meal and snack) costs are included in the school fees. We are committed to providing fresh, high quality and healthy food, whilst offering a varied and balanced diet, and encouraging a lifelong interest in nutrition in our pupils.
Co-curricular
We firmly believe that learning does not just take place in the classroom and all Belmontians have the opportunity to develop new skills, gain experience of leadership, challenge themselves and support others, whilst constantly developing their character in all they do.
