Our School Values
1. Be Kind
Kindness is one of the most important things for us at Belmont. It is so important when creating a warm and welcoming environment which allows everyone to feel supported. We encourage our pupils to complete acts of kindness, big or small. Whether it's a smile or helping a peer in class, we want our pupils to explore a world where kindness is flourishing.
2. Be Brave
To be brave at Belmont can have a lot of different meanings. It can either be a pupil taking a step outside their comfort zone or having the courage to express themselves. We want to make sure that our pupils are fearless when it comes to pursuing their passions and are not daunted by any obstacles or challenges they face as they grow in an ever-changing world.
3. Be You
We want to celebrate individuality and each quality that makes our pupils different. We encourage our pupils to be comfortable being their authentic selves and that being so will only make our community better. We seek to support pupils in that way by valuing our differences and teach them how to create a warm, inclusive environment in which everyone is accepted and supported.
Our Group Aims
Our values are underpinned by our Group Motto; instilling values, inspiring minds (‘et virtutem, et musas') and our vision is to ensure that all our pupils are equipped to thrive in life, now and in the future. As part of the Mill Hill Education Group its purpose and aims can be found below.
