Clubs and Activities
We firmly believe that learning extends far beyond the classroom. Every Belmontian is encouraged to explore new skills, embrace leadership opportunities, challenge themselves and support those around them, all while developing the strength of character that sits at the heart of a Belmont education. The all‑round, holistic experience we offer is central to who we are and what we value.
Our extra‑curricular programme is designed to nurture leadership in many forms, helping pupils discover their place in the world and grow in confidence. Through a rich variety of activities, pupils strengthen their communication, creativity and ability to inspire others. Each opportunity is developed to empower our pupils to overcome challenges, learn more about themselves and shape their own identity.
With nearly 100 clubs running each week before school, at lunchtime and after school, Belmont offers an exceptional variety of choice to fulfil every interest and curiosity. From horse‑riding, chess club and jewellery making to robotics, there is always something new to try, encouraging pupils to be brave, adventurous and open to new experiences.
At Belmont we understand the importance of giving every pupil the chance to discover their passions and a platform to showcase their talents. In doing so, we help them grow into confident, well‑rounded individuals ready to make their mark.
Our Year 7s can participate in a wide range of clubs during the school day, with the opportunity to join up to 5 clubs during the week.
