Welcome to Year 6. Starting a new school is an important and exciting step, and we are delighted that you will be joining us. This next stage of your learning journey will bring new opportunities, new friendships and new experiences.

We want you to feel welcomed, supported and ready to enjoy everything Belmont has to offer from the very start. We understand that moving to a new school can feel a little daunting, and that's completely normal.

Our priority is to help you settle in quickly and feel that you really belong here. You will have a dedicated team looking out for you, making sure you are happy and ready to succeed. There will always be someone available to listen, guide you and offer support whenever you need it.

At Belmont, there are lots of opportunities to get involved in beyond the classroom. We encourage all our pupils to try new things and take part in the many activities we offer, from amazing trips to clubs, sports and more. These experiences help you discover your strengths and interests and build lasting memories.

We will challenge you in your learning and help you develop important life skills such as resilience, independence, teamwork and respect. You will be encouraged to take responsibility for your learning and approach new challenges with confidence.
