Welcome to New Year 3s

Dear Pupils

As Head of Lower School, I would like to extend a warm welcome to you and share a little about life in Lower School. The teacher who you will have most contact with is your Form Tutor. They will teach you for many of your subjects and will be with you each day during registration and form period times, offering guidance, encouragement and support.

I am fortunate to work closely with every pupil in Lower School, and I look forward to  getting to know you. My door is always open, and you will always be welcome to pop into my office for a friendly chat or if you need to talk about something that is on your mind. Alongside your Form Tutor and me, there are many other people who you can chat with. Every pupil will have a buddy, one of the older children in the school, who will meet with you regularly and be someone who you can talk to during your buddy meetings. If you are a new pupil in Years 4 or 5, you will also have classmate in your form who will be assigned to help you settle in during your first few weeks. 

Belmont is a vibrant school with many exciting things to get involved in. l love hearing about the things you are doing, both in and out of the classroom and I am especially proud when I see you challenging yourselves and striving to be your best.

I hope that you settle in quickly and you enjoy your time at Belmont and all that it has to offer.
